TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions form all or part of the agreement between Support Staff Australasia Pty Ltd and all client companies when workers are engaged in labour hire activities. The signature of the Managing Director is required to remove or modify any of the conditions outlined below or in any other Support Staff document.

Accounts

We are pleased to supply recruitment services to you on a 14 day from date of invoice account. Invoices are produced and mailed weekly as the payroll is processed. Payments can be made by Electronic Funds Transfer by arrangement with our pay office. Please contact Accounts on 1300 768 707 or email here for more information.

Timesheets
Our workers are paid weekly and need to have a signed copy of their timesheet into our office no later than Tuesday evening. The signature of a company representative signifies acceptance of the information recorded on the timesheet and cannot be altered after payroll has been processed.

Liability of our company
We make every effort to maintain a high standard of contract casual or labour hire worker and to provide a reliable and cost effective service. Labour hire or contract casual workers are under the care and control of the client company and as such the responsibility for the performance of the worker rests primarily with the client. Support Staff will replace immediately any worker whose performance is below that required by the client. When using one of our candidates  you agree to indemnify us for any liability or damages, expenses, costs or compensation that may arise:

a) for any act or omission of a worker, including loss, damage or injury caused by any negligence, contributory or deliberate act by a worker, in the course of or in connection with any work performed for or on behalf of the client company;
b) through any act or omission of the client company or its employees, agents or servants
c) the failure or alleged failure of a worker duly to perform the services as agreed;
d) personal injury or death of a worker or any other person whatsoever or howsoever arising from or related to the performance of a worker

Minimum Hire Period
The minimum hire for labour hire is 4 hours in any one day without notice. If notice is supplied, workers may make themselves available for shorter periods by arrangement.

Employee Transfer
We and the client company agree that agency employees will be restricted from changing their employment or shift from one agency to another. In consideration of this, we undertake not to entice or offer employment to any personal from another agency at the same facility.

Offers of Employment and Permanency
Our contract employees are introduced to you (your company) on the basis that you will not offer, entice or employ them. All offers of employment must be made through our office.
